The Bodyguard improves their Vanguard Intercept when protecting either Protected Charge.
Range: Either Protected Charge can be up to 10 feet away when targeted by a physical melee or ranged attack.
Check Bonus: The Bodyguard gains a +2 bonus to MAB on the Vanguard Intercept check.
On a Success: The Bodyguard moves into the Charge’s square. The Charge moves to the next available square behind the Bodyguard, relative to the attacker, and the attack is redirected to the Bodyguard.
On a Failure: The attack is not redirected and resolves against its original target. The Bodyguard moves to an available square adjacent to the Charge.
