Class: Primal Shifter
Whenever the class progression grants a Shifter Talent, select one available animal form and advance that form’s track by one tier. A form’s features are cumulative: it retains the benefits of its earlier tiers while shifted into that form. No form can exceed the highest tier allowed by the character’s Primal Shifter level.
The maximum form tier increases at levels 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20. The Primal Shifter gains Shifting at 1st level; see the class page for its action, duration, and transformation rules.
| Maximum tier | Minimum Shifter level |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 4 |
| 3 | 8 |
| 4 | 12 |
| 5 | 16 |
| 6 | 20 |
Available profiles are Wolf, Feline, Bear, Turtle, Raccoondog, and Raven. Neko Hengeyokai use the Feline form. Kitsune are a separate classification and do not qualify for the Hengeyokai Shifter Talent feat. Fox is available through the Druid Beast Shape spell line, not through Primal Shifter progression.
The Hengeyokai Shifter Talent feat grants one additional immediate selection, restricted to the form matching the Hengeyokai’s animal type.
